Bachelors or Honour’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Finance, Business Management or Engineering
Minimum 3 years’ middle management experience
Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience
Eligibility to be registered with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
Primary Duties
Implementing strategic sourcing activities that are within well negotiated contracts and aligned with strategic programmes and projects while also assisting operational objectives;
Maintaining Supplier relationships;
Ensuring compliance throughout the SCM process;
Assisting in the development of internal policies and tools necessary to implement strategic sourcing initiatives and assists in prioritizing strategic sourcing initiatives;
Participating in the enterprise development initiatives to better enable the inclusion and participation of emerging enterprises in strategic sourcing initiatives
Reviewing and negotiating supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions;
Building relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors;
Collaborating with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions; and
Monitoring overall performance to make sure targets are met.
