Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant: Systems Solutions (Remote) at Watershed Consulting

Job Requirements:

• Degree, BEng/ Bsc ICT (Web development) Information Technology or Computer Science
• 5+ years’ experience
• Systems development experience and an understanding of Supply Chain principles. 
• Coding languages and Database Management_ VBA
• BPMN (Business Process Mapping Notation) using MS Visio or any other relevant software.
• Knowledge in system architecture (Unified Model Language (UML)
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving techniques

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in building up and coordinating a database of individual vendors and mentors
• Demonstrate a level of knowledge of the economic inclusion eco-system, B-BBEE and Sector Codes
• Support the team define High and Low Value Spend [Rands] and agree on the scoring parameters for strategic, bottleneck, leverage and routine outcomes
• Prepare documentation for sub-target setting facilitation such as QSEs and EMEs
• Assist the client confirm commodity group segmentation
• Work with small business development team on matters relating to supply chain and commercial requirements
• Assist in the preparation of information required for the local businesses end-user pitching presentations and related presentation reports
• Coordinate sessions and engagements with untransformed
  suppliers and track their B-BBEE commitment plan
• Provide support in the delivery of all client projects
• Gather information and interpret relevant data
• Assist with developing project plans supporting the delivery of projects
• Update and maintain the project status on project tracking tool for projects within supply chain
• Ensure that all projects comply with all required statutory compliance standards per industry
