System Support Analyst (Northern Suburbs (Cape)) at PEP

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

To provide hardware and system support (including system updates, rolling out of new functionality and training) to the PEP Supply Chain. Ensure system licensing and audit compliance in PEP Supply Chain. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Management and control of  IT Assets
• Procurement of End User Computing (EUC) and equipment checks
• Manage EUC JIRA calls re EUC equipment
• Management of user access and system licenses
• Manage user requests and provide system support
• Assists System Analysts and Supply Chain Systems Manager with data feedback and insights

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS: 

• Tertiary Qualification (e.g. Industrial Engineering or relevant Supply Chain qualification)
• 2 years systems support experience
• 2 - 3 years of operations’ experience working in a warehouse
• 2 years user experience working with warehouse management systems  and warehouse control systems will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Google Suite applications
• Advanced  Google Sheets/MS Excel
• Ability to interpret user issues with an understanding of all system capabilities
• Knowledge of Google-Suite software advantages
