    Talent Acquisition Researcher

    Introduction    
    Builds a candidate pipeline with a particular focus on both active and passive potential senior leadership candidates, hard-to-fill vacancies and specialist roles. Researches talent across the industry and proposes sourcing tactics to acquire this talent. Engages with future talent to build rapport and cultivate relationships to understand career aspirations, preferred benefits and retention levers.

    Specification    
    Future Talent Pipeline Research
    Complete research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations.

    Candidate Pipeline
    Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline for potential senior leaders, hard-to fill specialist and management roles, developing a variety of talent attraction and engagement processes and tools.

    Recruitment Management

    • Collaborate regularly with department managers, and proactively identify future hiring needs for a given area. Attract and select candidates for mid-level and high-level jobs. Promote company's reputation as "best place to work." Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.

    Recruitment Campaigns

    • Contribute to the creation of recruitment campaigns; identify the characteristics of key candidate target groups; propose channel and media selections and messaging content; design events; draft communications content and agency briefings.

    Screen Candidate Applications

    • Carry out online research and telephone interviews and review career histories to validate applications for senior management and executive roles and to screen out those that do not meet key criteria.

    Requirements    

    General Education

    • Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); University Degree (Advantageous)

    General Experience
    Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in recruitment research at a senior level. (Over 6 years to 10 years )
