Tax Specialist at Network Recruitment

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Tax Specialist will play a key role in supporting the company’s tax team by: 

• Preparing and reviewing tax computations for individuals, trusts, and companies. 
• Liaising with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) to resolve client queries and issues.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Providing clients with professional tax advice to optimize tax efficiency and compliance.
• Preparing and filing income tax returns accurately and within deadlines. 
• Assisting with tax audits and preparing relevant documentation. 

The successful candidate will possess

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Basic knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations (internship or academic exposure advantageous). 
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and SARS. 
• A proactive and organized approach to work.
