Team Leader, Cash (Level 1) - Humansdorp, Main Street 35 at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• To manage a team of Level 1 Cash Consultants who take demand from walk-in customers for any cash related matters (e.g. teller, ATM) whilst forming an accurate assessment and understanding of that demand in order to act on it in a manner that consistently delivers what matters to the customer within the parameters of the bank's financial offerings.

Qualifications

• National Certificate in Banking or Higher (NQF Level 5 or above in Finance, Commerce, or a closely related field)

Required Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience in Personal and Private Banking with a specific focus on teller operations and cash management
• Demonstrable leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of cash consultants (tellers)
• Strong operational knowledge of branch procedures and an understanding of the interconnections between branch functions
• High attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining cash accuracy and compliance in fast-paced environments
• The successful candidate must possess a thorough grasp of banking operations, demonstrate exceptional client service skills, and exhibit a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct in a financial services environment.
