What awaits you?

• Central maintenance budget control and steering i.e. special projects, investment and service contracts.
• Ensure problems are contained and not transferred to internal or external customers.
• Drive continuous improvement in technical availability and quality performance.
• Ensure timeous execution of TPM and preventative maintenance to the right quality and ensure high levels of technical availability.
• Ensure robust technical problem-solving during breakdowns and production continuity.
• Ensures and maintains the continuity of operation of all hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment within the Painted Body Plant.
• Ensures and direct that all maintenance work, preventative and emergency, is carried out in accordance with BMW specifications, relevant safety regulations, MOS Act., OHS Act, ISO 9001 and 14001, OSHAS 18001 series of standard and Regulations.

What should you bring along?

• National Engineering Degree/Diploma (Electrical and/Mechanical)
• Qualified artisan would be an advantage: Trade test equivalent to Electrical
• Extensive experience in a Body Shop environment
• 5 years experience in the motor/ related industry.
• 3 years’ experience in production environment.
• Process leader work organization training or PSP training.
• Working experience of BMW system and procedures.
