Technical Automation QA at PayFast

What you'll be doing

• Develop automated framework and test scripts
• Execute automated test scripts
• Build relevant reporting on findings including passed and failed tests
• Report defects using the project’s defect management tools
• Work with the development team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Participate in the testing process (when the application is transferred from the build to the QA team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Validate fixes
• Willing to do basic training to upskill QA team members

What you'll need

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
• 3 years + experience in automation testing

• Gherkin
• JMeter
• SoapUI
• Postman
• BrowserStack
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, highly developed attention to detail
• Good decision-making ability
• Ability to work individually and in a team as and when required
• Working well even under pressure
• Meeting deadlines
