Position Overview:

• The Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the IT Division. This individual will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements, document processes, and provide valuable insights to drive efficient and effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives.
• Analyse and define complex business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to facilitate clear communication between business and technical teams.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough requirement reviews to identify potential issues, conflicts, and dependencies, and propose viable solutions.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and perform user acceptance testing when necessary.
• Assist in data analysis and reporting, identifying trends and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the retail and IT sectors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Technical Business Analyst in a complex IT environment, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of retail business processes, preferably within the outdoor and apparel sector, is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
