    Technical Platform Owner

    • As a Technical Platform Owner you’ll be supporting data-driven decision-making across marketing, product, and engineering teams as well as operational oversite of the GA4 platform. The role is expected to manage stakeholders, requests, configure the Google Analytics, tag management, and platform to support. This will assist the business to excel at, reporting and manage the player experience.

    What you’ll be doing

    As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

    • Technical, functional, and product expertise to develop a solid Google Analytics platform and serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions
    • Ensure successful delivery of projects/requests; provide status updates to partners
    • Partner with digital analysts, marketing managers, data engineers, encouraging collaboration and driving projects forward to achieve goals
    • Gather stakeholder requirements, develop opportunity sizings and business cases, write technical or functional specs when necessary
    • Translate GA solutions to all audiences, from Marketing teams to Developers
    • Facilitate a process between developers and business
    • Identify opportunities to enhance existing Web Analytic enterprise capabilities
    • Define support / training procedures and manage deliverable
    • Implementation expertise in privacy-centric measurement (e.g. Enhanced Conversions & Consent Mode)

    Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

    The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

    • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in digital implementation experience, including tag or analytic platforms, metrics, analysis or reporting
    • Minimum 1-3 years implementing tracking in a tag management system (e.g. Google Tag Manager)
    • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience with HTML, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
    • Advanced skills in Google Analytics (GAIQ Certified preferred) and Google Tag Manager (certification preferred)
    • Well-versed in GA4 implementations
    • 2+ years working with GA and GTM, dashboards and custom reports
    • Libraries and SDK’s for measurement, GA Tag for websites and web applications (analytics.js and gtag.js, and App+Web properties)
    • Gathering requirements and writing specs – solution and implementation guides

    Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

    It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

    • Degree in Information Systems, Math, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
    • Technical project management experience
    • Experience implementing app tracking for Mobile Measurement Partners (e.g. Appsflyer), product analytics (e.g. Firebase) and deep linking
    • Experience with server-side tracking, for example, sGTM and Conversion APIs
    • Expert-level technical experience within the Google Analytics 360 platform
    • Expertise in JavaScript development and web analytics tagging as well as knowledge of different web mobile technologies and frameworks such as Angular, React Native and Bootstrap Add role-specific skill
    • Exposure to common digital marketing technologies: data visualization (PowerBI)
    • Highly analytical; interpreting business and technical needs to optimize platform performance
    • Superior relationship, communication and collaboration experience with teams - peers and partners; experience working with project management
    • Collaborating with web developers to implement changes and optimizations
    • Familiarity with other web analytics tools and SEO practice.
