Reach Truck Driver - Durban, Maydon at Impact

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a reach truck and a valid certification to operate heavy machinery.
• The Reach Truck Driver will be responsible for performing daily inspections of the reach truck, safely loading and unloading materials, and accurately storing and moving items within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the reach truck to safely load and unload materials
• Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues
• Assist with inventory management by accurately storing and moving items within the warehouse
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Valid certification to operate a reach truck
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
