Temporary Municipal Account Controller - VKB Properties, Head Office Reitz (12 Month Contract) at VKB Group

Job Description

• Responsible for general administration of Municipal accounts in VKB's Property Management department.

Requirements

• Grade 12/NQF4      
• Previous experience within a similar role will serve as recommendation (Administrative)
• Computer literate in MS Office package. 

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Contact person between VKB and the Municipality
• Continuous communication with the Municipality regarding queries or mistakes on accounts
• Open and close Municipal accounts when needed
• Reconciliation and verification of Municipal accounts by comparing accountings and rates 
• Continuous verification of meter readings
• Ensure that all properties' accounts are correct and up to date
• Establishing services needed on VKB's properties
• Update Municipal Control Database on a continuous basis
• Collect and process meter readings
• Distribute meter readings to the relevant Municipalities
• Calculate and provision for outstanding Municipal accounts
• Continuous liaison with clients (internal and external)
• Ad-hoc related duties
