Duties:
Speed measurement will serve as primary function Enforce the National Road Traffic Act, Criminal Procedure Act, Public Transport Act as well as Municipal By-laws Patrol municipal areas Responsible for the preparation and performance during roadblocks Impound vehicles Perform point duty Crowd control Handle complaints Compile reports Issue summonses and notices Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and licenses Attend court cases Capture data Perform administrative functions
