Theatre Stock Controller - Midstream, Pretoria at Cure Day Hospitals

KEY OUTPUTS

• Management of theatre stock and equipment charging.
• Responsible for stock control in theatre including optimum stock levels, credits, wastages, expired and aged stock, stock takes, etc.
• Responsible for orientation and supervision of staff where applicable.
• Co-ordinate theatre billing process.
• Responsible for the administration of consignment stock.
• Responsible for maintaining of Theatre charge sheets.
• Ensure client satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of Grade 12.
• Commercial/nursing qualifications is preferable.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar role.
• Previous experience in a day hospital will be to your advantage.
• Knowledge of surgical & Ethical products, prosthesis and sutures.
• Knowledge of patient administration systems and procedures will be advantageous.
• Demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the operational need within the functional unit.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to function independently but also work well within a team.
• Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner and negotiate acceptable solutions between stakeholders.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
