    Time & Attendance Clerk

    The successful incumbent will assist with optimizing HR administrative efficiencies by delivering services in an accurate and confidential manner in line with business objectives

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • HR Service delivery to internal customers by providing payroll with accurate timesheets for all employees timeously.
    • Understanding of the time and attendance system (ERS/ Biosyn) by ensuring an effective and efficient run of the system. 
    • Daily monitoring of all scanners
    • Liaise with ERS, IT and Maintenance to resolve T&A system & scanners’ problems.
    • Communication with the relevant T&A system users to ensure effective usage for the time & attendance system.

    ORGANISATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

    • Checking of hours and error messages on the time & attendance system daily (ERS).
    • Ensure that all leave forms are captured on the system and copies are submitted for record keeping.
    • Ensure accurate recalculation for daily, weekly and monthly hours on T&A system.
    • Ensure accurate and timeously submission of timesheets to Payroll by the 10th and 22nd of each month for overtime purpose.
    • Continuous communication with Production administrators to achieve accurate timesheets for overtime purpose.   
    • Capture new employees on the scanners and on the T&A system, as per HR `s instruction
    • Termination of terminated employees on the scanners and T&A systems as per HR `s instruction. 
    • Attendant and address all the T &A quires 
    • Monthly T&A report to HR, for analysing the absenteeism rate of the business.
    • General HR Time & Attendance report / timesheets as requested by Line Managers.
    • Provide Timesheets for audit purposes.

    SOUND QUALITY ASSURANCE

    • Adhere to relevant Acts (POPIA, LRA, BCEA, payroll and HR policies and SOP’s)
    • Accurate reports
    • Adhere to accuracy and confidentiality

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • N6 in Human Resources Management
