Town and Regional Planner (Production): Municipal Human Settlement Planning (2 positions available for a 12 month contract period), Ref No. DOI 137/2023
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has opportunities for two (2) qualified Town and Regional Planners to render town and regional planning support services to local municipalities for human settlement purposes. These positions are stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate B-Degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning or equivalent qualification;
Compulsory registration with SACPLAN as a professional Town and Regional Planner on appointment;
A minimum of 3-years post qualification Town and Regional Planning experience required;
A valid Code B driving licence.
Key Performance Areas
Influence forward planning through the IDP and sectoral plans; Render technical support in project planning for the district area; Undertake transversal planning for region; Management of staff.
