    Trade and Shopper Marketing Manager Africa

    Job Description

    • You will be the ambassador of Philips Personal Health categories (Personal Care, Mother & Child, Oral Healthcare), ensuring that all customers are satisfied while meeting or exceeding our business targets.
    • You will report to the Consumer Marketing Manager Africa

    You are responsible for

    • Planning and implementing trade marketing activities for a specific Business (product portfolio) on national level.
    • Analysing the national sales data, act on it and report to the region. 
    • Implementing the trade marketing tools for use on regional level. . 
    • Contributing to the definition and realisation of trade marketing actions on regional level
    • Category Management & Insights
    • Management of agencies (Staff, KPIs, briefs, continuous engagement)
    • Execution inside of a diverse retail landscape
    • Understanding of retail/distribution and e-commerce environments
    • Merchandising Execution excellence in Pharmacy/Hyper/Independent channels (including online)

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

    • Bachelors Degree
    • At least 6 + years' experience in trade marketing preferably in FMCG.
    • Analytical skills
    • High leadership and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Ability to adapt to change
    • Capacity to travel 20 to 30% of the time
