This role is to ensure that customer proposition is fully embedded into systems and stores managing all processes to secure smooth range, offer adjustments. In this role you will have end to end responsibility for completeness and reliability of assortment master data.
Key Responsibilities within this role include:
The development, implementation, and delivery of all pricing reporting for the SA convenience business, especially the competitor price position mapping.
Interaction with various internal and external stakeholders, where you will need to develop and maintain strong relationships - These stakeholders will include Category Leads, Finance, OPEX, Supply Chain, Marketing and Loyalty and external agencies providing competitor data and pricing tools.
Input to the overall Convenience strategy and market plan
Working at a fast pace and have the ability to assist decision makers at all levels.
You will have the following:
Solid experience and understanding of SA convenience retailing, trends, customer shopping behaviours and their expectations.
An understanding of what drives best in class customer experience.
Have a strong understanding of pricing strategies, trends, current and future business strategy.
Previous experience with stakeholder management and influencing where and when required.
