Trainee Marketing Analyst- at FinChoice Africa

The ideal candidate for this role will be required to analyse and interpret marketing campaign data in order to determine customer performance and trends which will be used for strategic decision-making

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role

• Analyse data and business processes
• Produce accurate daily and weekly reports and explain movements and trends. Ensure that these reports are delivered timeously
• Continuously monitor and analyse customer retention, acquisition and reactivation movements and trends and ensure response and variances are identified, investigated and explained
• Assist with the management and implementation of monthly campaigns
• Ensure dialer files and SMS files are accurate, completed in a timeous manner, signed off and ready to be set up by the operations team
• Analyse campaign performance and communicate recommendations and initiate corrective action accordingly
• Learn how to manipulate data in Excel using pivot reporting
• Understand how data is stored and gain knowledge in SQL in order to extract it.

Requirements

A little about who you are

• Relevant Degree (BSc, BCom, B Bus Sci, B Eng.) with maths &/or stats
• Minimum of 6-12 months work experience within an analytic role will be a great advantage
• Self-motivated driver of performance who is passionate about data and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
