Trainer Trackless Mobile Machinery - Mamatwan Mine at South32

BOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As a Trainer: TMM, you will be responsible to plan and conduct training facilitation, assessments and declare competency to empower employees and to meet organisational objectives.. Hereby ensuring that HMM training function can effectively deliver on its mandate and compliance to all South32 & Regulatory requirements.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Plan and facilitate TMM classroom training;
• Conduct TMM on-the-job coaching of operators and supervisors
• Conduct on-the-job coaching for operators and supervisors;
• Conduct relevant TMM assessments and declare competency;
• Conduct moderation of assessments where required;
• Follow-up and make recommendations on 40 hours training;
• Conduct planned task observations and training verifications;
• Review and develop/update relevant learning materials;
• Advise line managers and employees regarding training related matters;
• Implement and manage individual projects;
• Advise and provide guidance to line regarding Training legislation;
• Coach and advise line on integrated HRD aspects

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ operating experience in surface  mining of which at least 2 experience in Training;
• Must have the following equipment
• Excavator
• Hauler
• Front end Loader
• (Track Dozer, Water bowser, Grader and Lube Truck will be advantageous).

Qualifications for this role are:

• Grade 12
• Occupational Certificate (ODETDP Level 4)
• MQA registered Assessor
• Moderator (advantageous);
