ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Millwright, you will be responsible to attend to breakdowns and to conduct inspections and execute maintenance tasks on Processing plant, and Auxiliary equipment. Will be required to work shifts if needed.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
- Execute all maintenance work in a safe manner;
- Perform lockouts and make the work area safe;
- Test and commission equipment prior to handover;
- Identify and record all subsequent work found during the inspection activities;
- Reporting of events and non-conformances;
- Ensure optimal asset life through application of good maintenance practices.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Millwright in processing plant and auxiliary equipment;
- In depth mechanical and electrical knowledge of conveyors, screens Maintenance, Allen Bradley VSD’s, and fixed plants;
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ technical experience on Underground Mining Equipment (Atlas Copco 282 rocket Boomer & Boltec 235H, Epiroc Boomer S2, Bolter M10 or Epiroc Bolter MC).
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12;
- N2 Technical certificate (internal employees) and N3 Technical certificate (external employees);

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Specialist Assurance and Analysis, you will be responsible for developing, deploying and continuously improving maintenance work management strategies for the Operation and the regulatory assurance of all maintenance activities within the Operation area.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Participate in Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability initiatives.
- Analyze equipment performance to optimize maintainability and reliability;
- Identify and facilitate the implementation of improvement initiatives that enable functional excellence.
- Initiates root cause analysis and “failure type” reviews (e.g.5 Whys, FMECA) of plant, equipment and non-process infrastructure based on no compliance to planned availability or unpredicted failures
- Manage the improvement initiatives within the Maintenance function.
- Liaise with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering representatives to facilitate the review of the effectiveness of maintenance work strategies
- Supporting LEAN and implementation of the South32 Operating Model;
- Analise maintenance data for trends and deviations to improve maintenance and ensure process adherence.
- Assist with development of a yearly maintenance budget based on the preventative and corrective maintenance work strategies in 1SAP
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance improvement environment;
- Knowledge of LEAN, RCA and FMECA methodologies;
- Understanding mine information systems, sound knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SCADA, fleet management systems will be advantageous.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- As an Administrator Warehouse, you be responsible for effectively receiving stock binning, issuing, deliveries, stock counts and control.

- Valid Code B (08) Driver’s License is essential;
- Forklift License & HDV license is advantageous;
