Training Manager - Potchefstroom at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the development and maintenance of training documentation for Somerset West and Wellington manufacturing sites.
• Manage the execution of training at Somerset West and Wellington manufacturing sites.
• Manage RDM Academy’s skills training programmes for RDM personnel and clients.
• Manage the development and execution of training projects for international clients.
• Manage the training budget for training in Somerset West and Wellington.
• Assessing of training personnel performance, creating tailored development plans, to enhance training personnel skills, performance and training standards

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• NQF 7 in Explosives Management or equivalent qualification.
• ETD practitioner qualifications with proven experience as a Training Facilitator and/or Assessor would be advantageous (Statement of results from ETDP SETA).
• Qualifications and/or short courses in Explosives and Ammunition will be advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience within the training or explosives environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing of explosives and ammunition, preferably in a supervisory role, will be advantageous.
• Experience in compilation and development of training and technical documentation and material will be advantageous.
• Advanced computer skills, with at least 5 years’ experience using Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Written and verbal English Communication proficiency required.
