Job Description
- To support the smooth flow of packaging or product between loading and delivery points according to standard procedures and protocols, whilst maintaining ongoing communication with role players.
Key Performance Outputs
- Arrange transportation as required from loading to delivery points
- Communicate clear loading instructions to load points and transporters
- Keep all stakeholders updated on transport progress/delays
- Request Purchase Orders from finance
- Update transport sheet or system daily
- Escalate and assist to resolve transport related issues
- Work weekends, as required
- Assist with other logistics tasks and functions as required
Minimum Education/Qualification/Experience
- Senior certificate / grade 12 / matric
- Suitable tertiary qualification
- Transport coordination experience
