    Transport Coordinator - Paal

    Job Description

    • To support the smooth flow of packaging or product between loading and delivery points according to standard procedures and protocols, whilst maintaining ongoing communication with role players.

    Key Performance Outputs 

    • Arrange transportation as required from loading to delivery points
    • Communicate clear loading instructions to load points and transporters
    • Keep all stakeholders updated on transport progress/delays
    • Request Purchase Orders from finance
    • Update transport sheet or system daily
    • Escalate and assist to resolve transport related issues
    • Work weekends, as required
    • Assist with other logistics tasks and functions as required

    Minimum Education/Qualification/Experience

    • Senior certificate / grade 12 / matric
    • Suitable tertiary qualification
    • Transport coordination experience
