An exciting role has opened within CIB (Treasury) - Treasury Finance Performance Analyst (RoA)

Overall Job purpose:

• we require an energetic, analytical, self-starter candidate to assist in this process. The role is deadline driven requiring management of multiple deliverables. The candidate must be solution driven, customer centric, accountable and analytical. The candidate will provide support to multiple stakeholders in and out of country

Job Description

These activities would include

• Reporting on the financial impact of these FTP models as well as the capital, funding, liquidity, ALM and investment activities.
• Reporting on actual results as well as creating forecast financials and reporting on variances against the different financial plans.
• Running FTP models (understanding curves, product profiles and cluster balance sheets)
• ALM decomposition and explain
• Notional Interest calculation and engagement with Segments

Exposure for candidates will include, but not limited to, interaction with the treasurers and businesses as well as finance and risk functions, both on a local and regional level.

Performance Reporting

• Check, consolidate and upload data to produce Daily management information.
• Reconcile submissions to the sub ledger.
• Calculate and upload the budget and prior year data to use for comparison against actuals.
• Reconcile all performance management information to the general ledger at month end and investigate and resolve variances.
• Check, complete and submit the Daily Flash when required and ensure that significant variances have relative commentary.
• Execute all required changes to the hierarchy.
• Assist in producing and sourcing data for special data requests and adhoc information reports.
• Management of the Planning for Treasury cycles ( STP, MTP and RAF)

Financial Systems, Analysis Tools and Models

• Use and maintain all management systems and tools.
• Do all required UAT testing on new management system developments.

Education And Experience Required

• NQF Level: NQF Level 7: Honours/Masters Degree
• Qualifications Required (Essential) – Bcom Accounts
• CA(SA)
• Preferred 4-5 Yrs. Financial Reporting Experience.
