Trend Insights Analyst (Western Cape) at PEP

Key Responsibilities

• Research and Compile Future Strategy presentation per season to grow PEP’s business
• Controlling the packaging process from concept to final approval
• Research to ensure global initiatives and trends are applied to packaging
• Relationship Management 
• Project Management
• Ad hoc responsibilities 

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma with market/trend research and analytical subjects or Degree/Diploma in Design)
• 8 years experience in market/research and design 
• Experience with marketing or brand management
• Retail experience
• Experience with packaging design
• Experience in identifying key strategies and trends for future market
• Excellent understanding of marketing and brand implementation into design
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent understanding of different types of packaging substrate and materials
• An understanding of the rules that govern packaging production for eg dye sizes etc 
• Google Workspace 
• Extensive Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work as a part of a large team and independently
• Competencies required: Accuracy, Devotion to quality, Results oriented, Structuring, Adaptability, Listening Skills, Initiative, Helicopter View
