Underwriting Auditor - Sandton at Guardrisk

Role Purpose

• To assist with Underwriting Audits on Outsource and Broker Binder Business Partners.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• FAIS – Completed RE5 Certificate and Credits (60 credits)
• At least 5 years’ experience in commercial underwriting
• Technical knowledge on the underwriting of Non-Motor and Motor Commercial risks
• Proven track record of underwriting experience e.g., assessing exposure, understanding risk reports, underwriting levels and risk rating
• Basic system operating knowledge essential
• Must be able to work in Word and Excel
• General office administration knowledge
• Must be able to handle pressurized environments

Duties & Responsibilities

• Buid and maintain internal and external relationships with all key stakeholders
• Take adequate underwriting action on audit findings
• Compile and management of audit findings
• Stakeholder engagements within various internal and external divisions and partners
•  Must be capable of working independently Assist with Underwriting Audits process on Outsource and Broker Binder Business Partners
• Maintaining and building relationships with Outsource and Broker Binder Business Partners Support Underwriting and Marketing Teams where required
