Utilities Operator at The Coca-Cola Company

Job Description    

• Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity within our Utilities department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Utilities Operator, which is based in Pretoria. The successful candidate will report directly to the Geohydrologist.

KEY PURPOSE

To operate, control and maintain machines in the processing area for the plant & to manufacture quality products as per daily operational plan.
Key Duties & Responsibilities    

Ensuring efficiency in machinery by ensuring availability production readiness:

•  Up time of auxiliary equipment
•  No production stoppages due to no auxiliary equipment support
•  Effective starting of equipment as well as shutdown without machine damage

Maintaining plant effectiveness:

•  All production needs to be met on time
•  Effluent to meet local and legal requirements
•  Accurate reporting and recording of core activity’s e.g. CIP
•  Decrease water and energy ratio

Maintenance:

•  Completed schedules on time
•  Equipment availability higher than 95%.

Processing & Utilities Plants (SA Water, Eurodrain, Chillers, Radical water) :

•  Assist and learn during monthly services.
•  Full compliance of Processing plants

Skills, Experience & Education    
Qualification & Experience"

•  Minimum Grade 12/Matric (Advantageous if you have maths and science)
•  One-year production experience in an FMCG environment
•  Process plant or laboratory experience needed
•  High level of understanding of engineering and Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles
•  Preferable N3 minimum requirement in relevant field
•  Chemical or technical qualifications is preferred
