Utilities Operator at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor boiler performance
• Measure and monitor trends of performance attributes
• Apply OHS procedures
• Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping and risk free standards
• Optimise production performance
• Operate plant and process equipment
• Monitor processes Interpret production plan and maintain the utilities operation
• Report plant, machine and process problems
• Conduct autonomous operator maintenance and operator breakdown maintenance tasks
• Work in team and communicate effectively in the workplace
• Contribute to self and team development
• Prepare boilers for government inspections and ensure safety standards are adhered to

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric OR Grade 12 Technical skill
• Trade test would be an advantage
• Computer Literacy
• 2 years general production experience in an FMCG environment
• Experience in a utilities/ processing environment will be an advantage
