As a UX designer, you should not only possess a diverse skill set but a combination of education and practical experience.
Whilst a tertiary qualification is highly desirable, what is more, important is a qualification that has equipped you with a solid foundation in user-centred design principles and research methodologies.
You should have a deep understanding of various design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision, which enables you to create wireframes, prototypes, and visually captivating mock-ups.
Your expertise extends to information architecture, where you excel in organizing and structuring complex information to create intuitive navigation systems.
Key responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will encompass user research, persona development, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, interaction design, visual design, usability and accessibility considerations, collaboration with various stakeholders, and iterative improvements based on feedback.
