Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
• Relevant qualification and experience
• 2-5 years’ experience in the same position or similar
• Excellent knowledge of all sections of food
• Ability to produce excellent high-quality food
• Good oral communication
• Team management skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
• Positive and approachable manner

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
• Responsible for food hygiene practices
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
• Working closely with other kitchen staff of all levels
