The Visual Merchandiser Manager is responsible for boosting store traffic, driving branding efforts, and achieving sales goals by creatively showcasing products and merchandise through signage, planograms, and displays. This role is crucial to the retail operations of any business.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clear guidance and direction to the space planning and visual merchandising team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and performance-driven work environment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Store Operations, Franchise Liaison, Franchise Management, Distribution and Maintenance—to ensure planograms and merchandising strategies align with overall business goals.
Develop and implement innovative merchandising strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Plan, organize, and conduct workshops nationwide to guide store teams on planogram implementation, store standards, and display updates.
Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitors and conducting market research to identify new growth opportunities. Stay up to date with industry best practices and innovate new approaches to enhance ACDC Express’s brand image.
Plan and execute, with other respective departments, mock-ups and final promotion displays for national role outs.
Create and maintain detailed project plans, including spreadsheets and progress trackers, ensuring all tasks are updated daily or weekly as needed.
Oversee the planning and execution of in-store promotions in collaboration with the Marketing team, including creating and approving mock-ups.
Conduct regular store visits using checklists to evaluate merchandising execution, product performance, and compliance with brand standards.
Manage the development, production, requirement, requests and distribution of signage for all stores, including specialty displays e.g. solar and lighting boards.
Compile and distribute clear visual merchandising communications to stores, including implementation guidelines and feedback presentations.
Act as the primary point of contact for stores regarding visual merchandising queries and support needs.
Track, analyze, and report on the performance and installation of brand initiatives and campaigns, utilizing metrics to assess brand health.
Requirements
A degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in merchandising -preferably at management level.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing professional-quality design work.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other staff members. Strong negotiating skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and delegate effectively to meet project goals.
A passion for creativity and design, along with a willingness to explore new ideas.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
