VMWare ESXI Systems Engineer Specialist at Ovations Technologies

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMWare ESXI Host Engineer Specialist to provide specialist technical expertise and support in installing, testing, tuning, optimizing, diagnosing problems, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining both externally and internally supplied hardware and systems software. This includes operating systems, data management products, office automation products, embedded systems, and other utility-enabling software and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain VMWare ESXI hosts and associated infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Test, optimize, and tune systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform repairs, upgrades, and system maintenance, as needed.
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions in both hardware and software environments.
• Support the configuration and management of operating systems, data management products, office automation, embedded systems, and utility software.
• Work collaboratively with teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, updates, and troubleshooting efforts.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a VMWare ESXI Host Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with VMWare ESXI technologies and environments.
• Preferably with experience working with DELL and HP hardware.
• Solid understanding of hardware systems, operating systems, and various utility software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Proven experience in maintaining and optimizing both hardware and software environments.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations with a strong attention to detail.
