Warehouse Assistant Driver/Picker at Servest SA

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Code C1 license and Valid PDP
• Prior experience (3 – 5 years) in similar role, or at another branch/department of Office Services.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook; Knowledge of Granite and ACCPAC system.
• Knowledge of Sage Inventory Advisor would be beneficial.
• Delivery and collection skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility of Warehouse deliveries and collections.
• Dealing with customers
• Adhere to the rules of the road
• Knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Assume responsibility of Warehouse picking, packing and receiving stock.
• Ensure all products are labelled correctly.
• Assist with monthly stock take.
• Ensure all goods are picked and packed correctly.
• Learn/Know all functions pertaining to the warehouse in order to be able to perform any/all duties in the absence of the Warehouse Assistant.
• Ensure stock matches invoices from suppliers that is being delivered.
• Where stock is damaged or incorrect, the Warehouse assistant is responsible for communicating queries to the Warehouse Manager before accepting stock.
• Ensure that housekeeping is done daily before COB.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Ensure deadlines are met.
