Job Description

• Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Finished Goods Department where the main responsibilities will be stock controlling ,dispatching and all activities within the associated Warehouse areas .
• Successful candidates need to have a least 3 years’ experience within a warehouse and FMCG environment and must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of stock control and stores processes and full adherence to all Health and Safety policies, procedures and legislation.
• Must be fluent in English and be computer literate with a background in WMS systems and excel.

Required Skills

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• NQF5 Supply Chain/Logistics or relevant qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in store environment (FMCG environment)
• Knowledge of stock control & stores processes
• Working knowledge of BPCS & WM9 would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of Chep Portal
• Ability to work under pressure
• To have good communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office
• To be able to troubleshoot, resolve conflict and solve problems
• Assertiveness and strong leadership skills
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required
• Good planning and organizing skills are essential
• Valid code EB driver’s license
• Willing to work in an extremely environment conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely ordering and control of powder stock from off-site storage to prevent production delays.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of all powders—including whey, skim, and buttermilk—at both Bonnievale and off-site facilities
• Communication with internal and external clients, transporters, offsite storage and head office. • Liaise with the lab for timely releases and assist with COA’s
• Ensure correct invoicing to clients and DC’s with the relevant dispatch documentation.
• Ensure FIFO takes place when powder is shipped to clients with correct specifications.
• Ensure stock quantities on BPCS and WM9 are verified weekly and anomalies reported to the Senior Dispatch Coordinator.
• Update availability of powder stocks weekly to head office when quality results are released. • Ensure physical counting of stock on monthly basis.
• Running month end on powder stocks (BPCS/WM9).
• Adhere to safety standards in powder stores (stacking heights).
• Ensure powder store hygiene is maintained at all time.
• Ability to travel to offsite storage facilities for stock counts
• Managing the offsite warehouse inventory and loading through 3rd party and physical verification.
• Ensure customer credits are conducted timeously
• Oversee CHEP pallet control, stock ordering, variance investigations, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure production records correspond accurately with laboratory files and documentation.
