Job Description

• A leading player in the premium food and beverage industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee their specialized tea production facility in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth environment dedicated to quality and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations within the tea plant, ensuring optimal flow and storage.
• Manage inventory control processes, including stock takes, cycle counts, and variance reporting.
• Supervise the receiving, picking, and dispatching of raw materials and finished tea products.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food quality standards within the facility.
• Coordinate with production and procurement departments to ensure seamless supply chain alignment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage space to improve efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the warehouse team, managing performance and scheduling.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
• Qualification: Formal Certificate in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse management role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management software and food safety protocols is highly advantageous.
• Skills: Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
