    Warranty Claims Coordinator

    Summary

    • The primary responsibility of the Warranty Claims Coordinator is to receive and evaluate customer warranty claims in a timely manner. The Claims Coordinator will receive claims, review claims for eligibility, document and submit findings to our Accounts Receivable Team. This role requires interdepartmental collaboration along with being the primary warranty claims contact for our Dealer Customers. This position requires a detail-oriented analysis of claims against databases so that accurate findings may be reported. Most information resides in internal databases, Siroforce and SAP.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    • Receives Warranty Claims and validate material information.
    • Validate that item is under Warranty.
    • Validate type of Warranty Claim against product classification to determine return requirements.
    • Submit items through online portal to track intercompany credits.
    • Collaborate with Returns Coordinator to receive required returnable items.
    • Correspond with customer on items required to be returned.
    • Compile data about Claims in a centralized document for records keeping.
    • Submit the valid claims to our Accounts Receivable Department for issuing credit.
    • Retrieve, review and process Warranty Claim information in Siroforce and SAP.
    • Supports the development and maintenance of applicable standard operational procedures and work instructions;
    • Maintains compliance to all applicable standard operational procedures and work instructions;
    • Effectively maintain all quality data in a retrievable state to support continuous improvement activities;
    • Works with cross functional team members to solve customer/product issues.

    Requirements

    • Ability to determine product information and data as it corresponds with different needs of this role.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems, with the ability to learn other applicable programs as necessary.
    • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to function in a fast paced team oriented environment
    • Ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited information exists;
    • Must have excellent problem solving, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
    • Communicating with clarity & purpose demonstrating strong written & oral communication skills.
    • Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas effectively through both written and oral communication.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of written, oral or electronic instructions;
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize practices to meet defined timeliness requirements;
    • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and contributes to building a positive team environment;
    • Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills as needed;
    • Commitment to Dentsply Sirona values and strategic goals;
    • SAP EPR system knowledge preferred
    • Experience in medical device environment preferred.
    • High School graduate or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.

    • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
