Waterfall Estate, Midrand | Cambridge Tutor at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Co-ordinate all requirements and help student manage requirements of curriculum.
• Tutor in areas that may need attention, ensure all concepts are grasped, Assist in marking of assignments or tests as required by the Cambridge system.  
• Oversee the student in his execution of homeschooling and all relevant work required including,  but not limited to scheduling activities, managing course content and assessment of outcomes,
• Be able to assist student remotely in times when travelling for training or competitive tournaments and adjust schedule accordingly to address requirements during these times,
• Be able to drive  student to training sessions on completion of academic work when in country – (based in Woodmead Country Club) and occasionally to Pretoria – no more than once/ twice a week and petrol costs to be covered.

Requirements: 

• Long- term contract to ensure maintain consistency  and ensure stability for the learning of the student,
• Confident and well spoken, but able to be caring and kind, Adaptable and flexible to accommodate family’s travelling requirements, tutoring experience with the age group and the curriculum.
• Experience with Cambridge curriculum would be preferred.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
