    Web Content Administrator (FTC) - Sandton

    Job Purpose 

    As a Web Content Administrator at JD Tech, you will be responsible for the management and administration of our website's content, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize our online presence. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality web content.

    Minimum qualification and Experience 

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, or related).
    •  Proven experience in web content management or a related role. 
    • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and website administration tools. 
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. 
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. 
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with SEO best practices and tools. 
    • Graphic design skills or experience with image and video editing tools.
    • Familiarity with web analytics and data-driven decision-making. 
    • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
    • Basic understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines. 
    • Certifications in web content management or related fields.

    Position outputs/competencies 

    • Update and maintain website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements. 
    • Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding guidelines.
    • Collaborate with various teams to gather, create, and review web content.
    • Performing regular content audits to identify and rectify outdated or irrelevant  information. 
    • Optimize web content for search engines (SEO) and ensure high visibility on search results. 
    • Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues related to web content.
    • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices for web content management.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web content. 
    • Stay updated on web design and content management trends. 
    • Support the development of new web content and digital projects.
