    Web Engineering Team Lead

    The Job

    The Web Engineering Team Lead is responsible for management tasks in addition to creating and maintaining the software that enables our platform to function.

    • You coordinate the work that the frontend developer team needs to do.

    • You are actively involved in cross-team projects that involve development.

    • You maintain and develop new features on our software platform.

    • You apply software engineering principles to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of our software.

    • You ensure that the software you develop is secure and safe when it comes to data protection.

     

    About You

    You have in-depth development experience working within the frontend space, and ideally guiding and leading a frontend team. You’re a logical thinker and a natural problem solver who wants to use your technical skillset to make an impact. 

     

    Requirements:  

    • You hold a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a software development/software engineering role.

    • Experience managing a team of frontend engineers.

    • You have worked extensively with several frontend tools, including Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

    • Professional experience with at least one modern JS framework (React or Angular) is mandatory.

    At Triggerise we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary bracket for this position is R41 336 - R62 005 in South Africa, and KSH 231 306 - KSH 346 959 in Kenya, plus benefits and allowances. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
