Wembley College: Intern (Sports Assistant) at Plennegy Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and assist with all Junior School sports programmes and activities.
• Assist with the School’s Term Planner, including sports, cultural and daily events at the school.
• Confirm bus bookings for away fixtures and sports events with the bus bookings schedule.
• Coordinate catering for home and special sports events.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, staff, parents, and external sporting bodies.
• Ensure sports facilities and equipment are maintained and available for scheduled use.
• Assist with organizing sports days, inter-house competitions, and other extracurricular activities.
• Promote a positive sporting culture and encourage participation among scholars.
• Maintain accurate records of fixtures, results, and scholars participation.
• Assist with administrative functions within the sports department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• Min: Matric.
• Ideal: Sports Science, Sports Management or similar Qualification.

Experience:

• Experience in school sports coordination or coaching would be advantageous.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
