Job Description
- A Mining house based in the North West region is looking for an experienced Winding Engine Driver
Duties:
- Accountable for operating the winder systems to ensure the safe transportation of people, materials and ore between underground and surface stations
- Ensure personal health and safety of oneself and that of team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of Winder and related operations
- Perform prescribed winder and related installation inspections and testing in accordance with applicable Mine Health and Safety Act regulations, the Minerals Act and applicable Company standards
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Winding Engine Driver's Certificate of competence
- Onsetter Certificate
- Minimum of 3yrs experience as a Winding Engine Driver
