About the job

• We are a small to medium sized company based in Table View, near Cape Town. We are a working remotely, but do have inperson meetings every month in Table View.
• You should be comfortable working alone or in a team to take a project from start to finish. You will however have a Project Manager on any task as well as Traffic Manager to plan your work and you will have to log time on tasks for billing purposes.
• Our core focus is in WordPress & WooCommerce development. A developers day to day would consist of managing our retainer clients (bug fixing, updating code, adding new features) or building new themes and plugins for new clients.
• We use Trello and Slack for primary communications and have a daily 10am Zoom call.
• Any candidate is required to know the following languages and we will go through a technical coding & logic test, in realtime on a Zoom / Teams call with you as part of our screening process.

Skills

•  HTML & CSS
•  PHP (includes REST / SOAP API experience)
•  Javascript / jQuery

Note you'll need to have a working knowledge of GIT as well as experience writing code for WordPress.
Nice to have  outside of that any knowledge in these areas will be taken into account.
