Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise workshop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of workshop equipment, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
• Monitor workflow and adjust resources as necessary to maintain optimal production levels.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
• Manage inventory levels and procurement of workshop supplies and materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or similar production environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to workshop operations.
• Demonstrable experience in project management, including planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
• Proficient in using workshop machinery and tools relevant to the industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
