YC: Marketing Assistant at UD Trucks

Responsibilities and Duties

Internal marketing support

• Assist in the execution of internal marketing initiatives to align with corporate objectives.
• Support content creation for internal communications, including newsletters, presentations, and internal events.
• Coordinate marketing collateral distribution across internal stakeholders and dealership networks.
• Ensure alignment with global and regional brand guidelines in all marketing activities.

Budget support

• Assist in tracking and managing the marketing budget, ensuring accurate record-keeping of expenses.
• Support the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and payments in collaboration with the finance team.
• Monitor and report on marketing expenditure to ensure adherence to budget allocations.

Agency interaction

• Coordinate agency briefings and ensure alignment with UD Trucks' marketing objectives.
• Support quality control by reviewing creative materials before final approval and execution.

Monthly reporting

• Assist in preparing presentations for internal meetings and leadership reviews.

Campaign management support

• Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to ensure campaign materials are distributed effectively.
• Track campaign performance and compile post-campaign reports to assess ROI and effectiveness.

Dealer support

• Provide marketing assistance to UD Trucks' dealer network, ensuring alignment with corporate branding.
• Support dealers in executing localized marketing initiatives, including events, digital marketing, and PR activities.
• Assist in the development and distribution of marketing toolkits and promotional materials for dealer use.

Minimum qualifications and experience

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
• 1-2 years of experience in a marketing support role, preferably in the automotive or B2B sector. 
•  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is an advantage. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
