KEY OUTPUTS :

Marketing Campaign & Brand Support

• Assist Brand Managers in executing marketing initiatives across multiple regions:
• South Africa
• Southern Africa (Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius)
• East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Seychelles)
• Asia (Bhutan, Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal)
• South America (Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina)
• Antarctica
• Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email and more).
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

Content Creation & Digital Support

• Assist in developing engaging content for social media, blogs, and email marketing.
• Manage and update website content, ensuring SEO optimisation and accuracy.
• Handle WETU updates, PowerPoint presentations, and website content updates.
• Rename and upload images in Cloudinary for digital asset management.

Graphic Design & Asset Management

• Assist with branding-related design tasks, including:
• Correcting naming architectures for files
• Resizing and exporting illustrations (Photoshop)
• Modifying icon colors and exporting assets (Illustrator - SVGs, PNGs)
• Uploading design resources to Cloudinary
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly beneficial.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor insights.
• Assist in tracking and analysing marketing campaign performance.

Event & Administrative Support

• Support marketing events, trade shows, and brand activations.
• Assist with logistical arrangements, including venue coordination and promotional materials.
• General administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and team support.
• Help with the capturing of meeting notes and sending out actions to the team

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Basic to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail is crucial for this role. 
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude—able to take ownership of tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt—this role involves diverse projects, including foundational tasks and you will be exposed to a lot of different aspects in short timeframes. 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Prioritise skills needed as there will be multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Copywriting skills beneficial

• Must be a South african Citizen
• Must be 27 years old or younger before 01 May 2026
• must have Matric or a higher qualification 
• Must not have been a part of the Y4Y programme previously
