Z/OS Systems Programmer Systems Consultant – IT Port Elizabeth – Eastern Cape

Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in z/OS system programming.
- Experience in z/OS security (Top Secret).
- Experience working on JCL, REXX.
- Experience in working with z/OS subsystems (CICS, IMS, MVS, DB2, MQ, JES).
- Working knowledge of z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.
- Experience in mainframe storage solutions and database technologies including ISAM, VSAM, IMS, DB2.
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, customization and upgrades of zOS environments.
- Communicate the business impact of major incidents.
- Diagnose zOS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
- Providing support for z/OS operating system.
- Prioritize major incidents based on business impact to the client.
- Provide assistance with identifying problem management trends.
