    Manager, Enterprise Systems & Integration

    Job Description:

    • We are seeking a Manager, Enterprise Systems & Integration to lead and advance the enterprise integration, workflow, and testing capabilities that connect and automate core business processes across Enterprise and related systems.
    • This pivotal role ensures the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions that enable business agility, seamless data flow, and digital transformation.
    • The successful candidate will steward the Integration Centre of Excellence, drive DevOps maturity within the enterprise applications scope, govern citizen development platforms, and accelerate automation through modern workflow orchestration across platforms like SAP, Microsoft, Outsystems, and other enterprise application digital tools.
    • Additionally, this role will involve the development and enhancement of vendor service management and operational governance, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our digital platforms.

    Core Responsibilities (amongst others):   

    • Own the enterprise integration architecture and platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and application landscapes.

    • Supervise the creation of integration solutions, including directing integration design on the integration platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements related to Enterprise Applications.
    • Deep understanding of system architecture, deployment, and configuration
    • Strong familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in IT systems, asset management, and data analytics.
    • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP Workflow, and SAP Datasphere.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Factory.
    • Proficiency in low-code platforms like Outsystems, and frontend/backend development using .NET and React.

    Principal, Legal: Strategic Projects

    Job Description:

    Kumba Expansion and Staying in Business Project Legal Oversight

    • Lead legal support for Kumba's projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Work closely with the Legal Manager: Project Global and Kumba's management team to assess legal risks and implement governance frameworks for major projects.
    • Develop and apply legal frameworks to enable commercial innovation and strategic expansion within South Africa within the context of Kumba's expansion and staying in business projects.

    • Partner with Kumba's transport and logistics teams to oversee rail, port, and infrastructure agreements with strategic partners.
    • Manage legal risks related to Kumba's transportation network and engage with logistics providers.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering

    • Act as a trusted legal advisor to Kumba management, dedicated legal teams, commercial leaders, and regulatory bodies.
    • Partner with internal legal functions, including the Head of Legal: Strategy and Governance, Head of Legal: Marketing, and Head of Legal: Commercial and Global Projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Recognized South Africa graduate legal qualification. Admitted to practice law in South Africa.

    Preffered:

    • Postgraduate qualification in Commercial Law, Mining Law, or Infrastructure Law.

    Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in South African commercial law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong understanding of strategic legal risk management in large-scale projects.

    Deployment, Transitions & Change Coordinator

    Job Description:

    • Support the delivery of GSS People Services deployment plans to manage testing, cutover, benefits realization, governance, risk and stabilisation to manage a planned deployment lifecycle.
    • Run complex transitions from design and development stage to implementation and completion stage.
    • Define requirements and plan transitions and deployment lifecycle.
    • Document management, including managing systems and tools during transitions and deployment project delivery to ensure proper document management.
    • Through end-to-end project management, ensure delivery on overall assessment of go-live readiness and anticipated support.

    • Independently identify and manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between transitions and deployment projects.

    • Ensure that all deployments activities have a service charge agreement and are handed over to GSS PS Commercial team.
    • Conduct transition readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
    • Promote GSS PS to current as well as new businesses to achieve buy in and support.
    • Interpret and communicate relevant policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in HR or Business management – Required.
    • A relevant postgraduate qualification in HR or Business Management – Advantageous.
    • Specialisation/ Certification in Project Management (end-to-end) – Desired.

    Technical Knowledge

    • 4-6 years’ experience in project management (end-to end).
    • Minimum 2-years people management experience, demonstrating effective leadership skills i.e. performance management, talent management, work plans, coaching and driving deliverables as well as leading high performing teams.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the transitions and deployment of work/activities (projects) across multiple Business Units.
    • Experience of successful implementation of strategy/projects, demonstrating ability to bring project deployments to successful completion.

    Warehouse Assistant (FTE – 6 Months)

    Job Description:

    As Warehouse Assistant you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    Safety, Health, and Environment

    • Compile necessary reports identifying variances and improvement opportunities; assist and support in the process.
    • Provide and submit required documents for approval/record, such as reports, logs, and forms.
    • Oversee the delivery of materials reserved for the plant area.
    • Help maintain an improved OTIF receiving and issuing process.
    • This role is in the Commercial (CML) NC at a Band A4 level reporting to the Supervisor Warehouse.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12/N3 Technical
    • Preferably a certificate in Supply Chain or Logistics (NQF4)
    • Advantageous Licences: Forklift, O/H Crane, LDV, Truck, and Reach Truck.

    Experience

    • 2 - 3 years of relevant warehouse knowledge/experience.

    • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all hardware components associated with the Mining Production Management system, which includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the equipment functions correctly to minimise downtime.
    • Identifying and Addressing Downtime Causes: Proactively identify components causing excessive downtime and develop permanent solutions that involve troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and continuously monitoring system performance to maintain availability and reliability goals of 98% or higher.
    • Firmware Management: Ensure the correct firmware is loaded onto the devices for optimal system performance, which involves staying updated with firmware releases, performing firmware updates as needed, and verifying that the firmware versions align with system requirements.
    • Spares Management: Manage spare inventory to ensure enough spare parts are available to address hardware failures and minimise downtime promptly. This includes controlling spare inventory, forecasting future needs, and replenishing stock, as necessary.
    • Utilizing Correct Tools and Work Instructions: Adhere to the right tools and follow work instructions for maintaining equipment effectively and efficiently by utilising appropriate tools, following established procedures, and documenting maintenance activities accurately.
    • Functionality and Safety Testing: Thoroughly test equipment for functionality and safety before returning it to production to ensure it operates correctly and meets safety standards, reducing the risk of accidents or malfunctions.
    • Calibration: Perform calibration procedures according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
    • Identifying Barriers and Implementing Improvements: Continuously identify barriers to reliable and effective system hardware performance and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and overall performance over time.
    • This role is in the Mining (MIN) at a Band 7 level reporting to the Dispatch Systems Engineer.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 12/N3 Technical
    • Relevant Higher National qualification on NQF5
    • Relevant National Diploma on NQF6 (Preferred)
    • An electrical trade certificate will be an advantage (Preferred)
    • SA Drivers Licence Code B

    Experience

    • Knowledge of operational principles related to installing and maintaining mining production systems, including familiarity with industry standards over a span of 3-5 years.
    • Understanding of equipment such as PLCs, LAN systems, and Wireless Networks, including their technical specifications and operational parameters.
    • Awareness of equipment capabilities and limitations within mining environments.
    • Familiarity with the mining lifecycle, value chain, and how mining activities influence business and operational performance.
    • Knowledge of key performance data metrics, analysis techniques, and how insights can be used to identify barriers and optimize performance.
    • Understanding of occupational health and hygiene considerations related to design and operational activities, and their implications for group objectives and risk management.
    • Familiarity with potential hazards and safety & health risks, including standards for identification and compliance.
