    KYC Analyst

    Description

    • We are seeking a KYC Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in complex international client onboarding and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in the KYC lifecycle of institutional clients.
    • This is a critical compliance function within a large, regulated financial institution.

    Job specification

    • Perform end-to-end KYC and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) for a range of international clients (corporate, trust, fund structures, UBOs, etc.) in line with global AML/CFT regulations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and determine appropriate levels of due diligence.
    • Review and validate client identity, ownership, control structures, and source of wealth/funds.
    • Identify and escalate potential red flags, PEP (Politically Exposed Person) connections, and adverse media findings.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed KYC records and ensure full audit trails in line with regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, compliance, operations, business units) and external clients to obtain outstanding KYC documentation.
    • Participate in remediation and periodic review exercises.
    • Ensure compliance with international regulatory directives such as FATF, EU AML Directives etc. and any other relevant global regulatory frameworks.
    • Assist in regulatory reporting and internal compliance monitoring programs as required.
    • Contribute to policy and procedure development, system improvements, and team knowledge-sharing.

    Skills Required:

    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a KYC/AML role within an international fund administrator, asset manager, or financial institution.
    • AML/compliance certifications are preferential .
    • Strong working knowledge of complex legal entity structures, including funds, trusts, SPVs, nominees, and private equity vehicles.
    • Familiarity with jurisdictional KYC requirements (e.g., Cayman Islands, BVI, Luxembourg, Ireland, Guernsey).
    • Compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) essential.
    • Experience using World-Check, RDC, LexisNexis, Refinitiv or similar screening tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently in a high-volume, high-risk environment.

    Security Architect

    The Role

    • Apex is looking for an experienced Security Architect to join our growing Enterprise Security Architecture team.
    • You’ll play a key role in designing and guiding the implementation of secure technology solutions across the organization.
    • This role contributes directly to building scalable, resilient, and secure systems that support Apex’s business and regulatory commitments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design secure architecture patterns aligned to Apex’s technology roadmap and business goals.

    Required Experience & Skills

    • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or application roles, with 5–7 years in architecture or security design.
    • Proven experience architecting secure systems in large or complex enterprise environments.
    • Hands-on exposure to technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, IAM, CI/CD, API gateways, SIEM/SOAR, and data security platforms.
    • Strong understanding of security principles, architecture patterns, and defense-in-depth strategies.
    • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, MITRE ATT&CK).
    • Ability to communicate complex technical risks and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience with blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger), smart contract security, and token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721).
    • Understanding of digital identity, secure wallet design, and regulatory frameworks for digital assets (e.g., MiCA, FATF, SEC).
    • Architectural qualifications (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
    • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, or blockchain security credentials are a plus.

    Events Co-ordinator

    Summary of the position

    • We are looking for a skilled events coordinator to assist with the management and execution of an extensive global events list of both Third-Party Sponsorship and company hosted events.
    • The ideal candidate is meticulous and organized.
    • They will be able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption.

    Outline of main duties and responsibilities

    The main responsibilities of the role will be:

    • Manage and execute the sponsorship events calendar and strategy.
    • Oversee the event budget and manage all subsequent POs and invoices.
    • Facilitate invoice approval and processing including budget record keeping.
    • Identify and negotiate sponsorship packages for relevant industry events.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • End-to-end management of all events within designated regions, including but not limited to; arranging deliveries, branded items, briefing exhibiting stands design and presentation to brand team etc.
    • Venue and service supplier management, including booking of venues, tech and AV and all F&B.
    • Use CRM system to track all events and ensure events data is being recorded accurately.
    • Work closely with sales and marketing team to create solid and measurable events KPIs.
    • Produce quarterly events report, ensuring KPIs are met, and events are producing a positive ROI.
    • End-to-end management of Apex Group hosted events such as seminars, summits, roundtables, and larger client events in key regions.
    • Briefing wider marketing team on upcoming events to ensure the relevant teams such as Digital, Social and Brand are informed as needed.
    • Creating event materials as needed such as registration pages, invites and managing RSVPs.

    Skills and experience required

    The successful candidate will:
