    Nurse Educator – Iron (IV) (Wester Side Of South Africa) (JHB North)

    OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

    • Focus on enhancing the knowledge and skills of nursing staff and HCPs through peer-to-peer discussions, educational programs, and ongoing support regarding intravenous iron therapy. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Peer Education and Support:

    • Facilitate peer-to-peer discussions on IV iron therapy best practices.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff on IV iron administration techniques and patient management.

    Curriculum Development:

    • Develop and implement educational programs and materials related to IV iron therapy.

    Sales Representative Specialty Diabetes (Insulins) Jhb North & West (JHB North)

    OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

    • The Specialty Sales Representative acts as the primary customer contact and is responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Aspen products as led by the District Sales Manager, to meet specified sales targets through a customer centric approach. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Achieve sales targets (Sales vs budget)

    • Constant monitoring and driving of sales from customers, scripting from doctors and sales from pharmacies to meet set targets. Analyzing data and identifying gaps. Sales to be driven at customer level by affective scientific detailing and use of marketing material. Effective scheduling and attending appointments and activities with healthcare practitioners (Specialists, GP’s, Allied Healthcare workers & Pharmacies etc.) to influence sales and meet sales targets.
    • Implementing of brand and omnichannel strategies to drive sales and market share growth in territory 

    Plan - Pre-call planning on Veeva on a weekly basis

    • To be done weekly on Veeva and daily prior to the customer call. Review the available data (Impact Rx, Shortfall reports, SSD,  Swift, Power BI, etc).

    Achieve Call Rate and CPA objectives

    • See the required number of customers on a daily basis to achieve call rate and at the correct frequency to achieve call plan adherence.

    Capture daily calls and activities on Veeva and Synch 2X/Day

    • Synchto be done, or as specified by the business. Final Synch to be done after the last call for each day.
    • Conduct Doctor or pharmacy activities in line with compliance and regulatory standards.
    • Complete the required number of pharmacy trainings and Doctor/pharmacy Meetings as required per business and territory requirements

    Compliance Officer (JHB North)

    OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

    • The role is responsible to support the Company Code Compliance Officer to ensure compliance of Pharmacare Limited and its employees with the rules and regulations of the South African Code of Marketing Practice for Health Products Code and Guideline, the quality requirements of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 101 of 1965 as amended, the Aspen Group Code of Marketing Practice, Third-Party Alliance Partner Marketing Compliance requirements, and various other acts and guidelines applicable. 
    • To provide operational and administrative support to the CCCO and employees of Pharmacare Limited, in applying and maintaining compliance, including the systems to record, manage and monitor compliance, and to facilitate training on compliance requirements, including the Code and other relevant policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE

    • Support CCCO in implementing an effective compliance program to Aspen employees in accordance with the Marketing Code and compliance legislation applicable to the pharmaceutical industry, for Aspen and Third-Party Alliance Partners’ products.
    • Serve as a trusted partner for the Commercial, Sales and Marketing employees, ensuring the Company culture of compliance is embedded into day-to-day business.
    • Support with compliance monitoring on activities as aligned with CCCO to ensure we do not breach the policies, contracts, or legislation.

    Database maintenance

    • Assist CCCO with Compliance Activities for Established Third-Party Alliance Partners

    Compliance monitoring and reporting

    Training

    • Draw up and maintain guidelines for training.
    • Support with training of staff on applicable with SOPs, Rep Assist system, Expense process, Marketing Code/s to ensure that everyone follows Ethical and compliant marketing practices.
    • Ensure and maintain MCA code certification training for all Sales and Marketing staff and relevant support staff
    • MCA Website Maintenance; Aspen Representative Sales, Marketing and in scope Commercial employees
    • Loading of profiles

    • RSM and Manager reports as required.
    • Monthly MCA report for license renewals
    • Rep Assist database report for integrity and check on profile changes.
    • Quarterly monitoring on all activities for Aspen, GSK, Lilly and Amgen

    Requirements

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Technical qualification(s) related to the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. 

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Compliance, Marketing or similar Regulatory Affairs or Medical /Compliance role

    Group Manager: Transfer Pricing (Gauteng)

    Job Purpose:

    • The Group Manager: Transfer Pricing will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with global transfer pricing regulations, managing risks, and optimizing intercompany pricing strategies to align with business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain global transfer pricing policies that align with business strategies and regulatory requirements.
    • Establish and manage intercompany pricing strategies for goods, services, intellectual property, and financing arrangements.

    Group Specialist: Middle East Africa and Asia Tax (Gauteng)

    Description

    • We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Group Tax Specialist to join our team, responsible for supporting all tax-related activities across the Middle East Africa and Asia region. 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Support the preparation, review, and filing of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other regional tax returns.
    • Prepare accurate tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and return to accrual adjustment for financial reporting purposes in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.

    • Ensure each company entity in the region meets all their tax reporting obligations to achieve the deadlines set by the Tax Authority. This responsibility covers corporate tax (domestic and international tax), and value-added tax.  
    • Prepare the returns that have been identified by the GTM and submit those to the Tax Authority once the return has been reviewed by the GTM
    • Prepare the CFC tax return for each company in the region simultaneous to submission of the corporate tax return.  
    • Prepare all responses to any routine query that is received by the Tax Authority in collaboration with management and the appointed advisors (to the extent that external advisors are utilized). Ensure that these are reviewed by the GTM prior to the replies being submitted to the Tax Authority. 
    • Identify risks that should be included in the IFRIC23 risk register. 
    • Identify changes that are required in TRCS that would impact on the monthly tax computations that are being prepared by your business. 
    • Update the Global Tax compliance tracker after each tax return submission.

    Requirements
