    Manager: Kleinbosch

    Requirements

    • Relevant experience in an educational context, for example school principal.
    • Experience in managing a team.
    • Exceptional people skills – both public facing and in a hospitality context.
    • Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
    • Exposure to school, camp or workshop presentation would be beneficial.
    • Reliable and well organised.
    • Passionate about working with learners.
    • Must maintain a proactive mindset and be a problem-solver.
    • Driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Must liaise with parents and principals with ease.
    • On-site accommodation is provided.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in recruiting a team to run the centre under your management.
    • Develop programmes and curricula and involve subject experts as necessary.
    • Reach out to parents and teachers to fill a calendar year’s camps as soon as possible, and establish these camps as annual events.
    • Arrange annual excellence events, for example a gathering for top science achievers or computer programmers. During these events interesting topics should be covered that will stimulate and develop young individuals.
    • Manage the Kleinbosch team, including shift management and some HR management tasks.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the proceedings.
    • Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.

    Junior Security Officers

    Requirements

    • Completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
    • Grade C PSIRA qualification.
    • Knowledge of SAIDSA’s minimum standards.
    • At least 2 years’ experience as a security officer in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of CCTV security cameras.
    • Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
    • Professional appearance and sober habits.
    • Clean criminal record.
    • Must act responsibly, respect the company's equipment in all circumstances, and always follow prescribed procedures.

    General Maintenance Worker

    Requirements

    • A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
    • 2 – 5 years’ experience in general facility maintenance.
    • Experience in the fields of plumbing, electrical and/or construction would be advantageous.
    • Experience with heating, ventilation and aircon (HVAC) maintenance would be advantageous.
    • Experience in the hospitality sector would be advantageous.
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English with professional communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Responsibilities

    • Take responsibility for a dedicated area and perform maintenance as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns that may affect our guests experience on the farm.
    • Liaise with operations and maintenance teams.
    • Must be able to work overtime as required.
    • Must be able to work every second weekend.
    • Minimise equipment downtime.
    • Take responsibility for inspections on a routine basis.
    • Assist with all administrative tasks.
    • Maintain high housekeeping standards in all areas.

    Requirements
